Meet Our Exceptional Studs
Duke – The Champion Retriever
Duke is a remarkable 4X Grand Master Pointing Retriever and a Hunting Retriever Champion. Weighing in at 62 lbs, he boasts OFA Good Hips, OFA Normal Elbows, and a current eye CERF (2015). Importantly, Duke is EIC- and CNM-clear, making him an outstanding choice for enhancing your breeding program.
Buddy – The Family-Friendly Hunter
Our chocolate lab, Buddy, is available for stud services as a 2X Grand Master Pointing Retriever with an HRCH title. Known for his hunting prowess and friendly demeanor, he's a perfect addition to any family. Buddy also possesses OFA Good Hips, OFA Normal Elbows, and a PennHip test score of 90%. Danger – The Muscular Competitor
Danger stands out with his 4X Grand Master Pointing Retriever title and Finished HRCH title. Weighing approximately 55 lbs, he combines agility and strength as a muscular retriever in the field. With OFA Good Hips, OFA Normal Elbows, and a clear CERF, Danger is also CNM-clear by DNA testing, ensuring his suitability for breeding excellence.
Manny – The Legacy Breeder
Manny, a Grand Master Pointing Retriever and Hunting Retriever Champion, possesses an Upland Hunting title and comes from a lineage of highly titled dogs. His health clearances are all up to date, ensuring he meets the highest breeding standards. Manny is owned by Rusty Fiegen, solidifying a legacy of excellence in retriever breeding.
Contract for Stud Services
A mutual agreement is established between both parties prior to the breeding process. A $250 deposit is required at the time of drop-off for the female, which will be deducted from the total stud fee. The remaining balance is due within 10 days after whelping. AKC litter registration confirmation will not occur until full payment is received. The stud owners reserve the right to select a puppy from the litter instead of receiving a stud fee; however, notification must occur before the female whelps.
If artificial insemination (AI) is deemed necessary, the stud owner will communicate this option, and any associated AI charges will be due upon pickup post-breeding. The original deposit will apply to a second breeding if the initial attempt does not result in a successful pregnancy. If fewer than four puppies are whelped, a repeat breeding will occur at half the stud fee. If more than four puppies are born, any mortality will be viewed as a successful breeding, and the full stud fee will be payable.
